Put TaylorMade R11 Irons In Your Bag

Throughout the years, TaylorMade continues to launch breakthroughs in golf equipment technology. Following the success of R11 Driver is the company's newest release in their forged irons collection, the TaylorMade R11 Irons.
Inspired by R11 driver innovation, R11 Irons have all the important technologies making it so far the best club in the irons category that TaylorMade has ever come up with. According to its engineers, the red precision-weighting port technology which is the very first thing that would grab every golfer's attention guarantees precise swing weight while ensuring centre-face Center of Gravity or CG. As a result, the feel and performance from one club to the next will be consistent. For serious Golfers, sound and vibration are both important factors that affect the feel in a club. For the purpose of ensuring players to get a superbly soft feel, TaylorMade worked diligently using its advanced design capabilities. And while it's been said that predicting how an iron would sound and feel is not easy, they still nailed it.
TaylorMade R11 Irons is classically beautiful with simple and traditional appearance made to meet quality performance. Its advanced groove design promotes increased spin and control. Its design team worked intensively with the company's Tour Staff Professional Nick Faldo, making sure that the top-line of each iron blends into the hosel in just the right way to preserve the iron's beauty at address. The soles are moderately thin and the leading edge is moderately sharp, helping it to enter and exit the turf quickly and smoothly. Long-irons on the other hand, are engineered with wider soles to pull the CG lower for easier, higher launch while also increasing Moment of Inertia or MOI to make them more stable and forgiving.
This golf equipment has Ultra-thin face thickness that promotes faster ball speed and distance allowing the same impact on off-centre hits all because of the Inverted Cone Technology. Its multifunctional sole increases playability from a variety of lies while the progressive top-line thickness promotes confidence at address throughout the set. All these features combined make this new product the most powerful, playable and refined iron ever.
The R11 Irons are offered in four shaft flexes - S, R, M, L. Ladies' flex shafts will be offered in the 5-iron through pitching wedge, attack wedge and sand wedge. The steel offering will be the KBS 90, while the graphite offering will be the Motore 75 S, 65 R, 55 M, 50 L. Men's irons are equipped with Tour Velvet grips, ladies with Winn grips.

Enjoy Traveling and Golf

The Ryder Cup is the most perfect of golf vacations for combining the hobbies of golf and travel. The Ryder Cup is a popular golf contest that happens every second year between teams from the United States and Europe. Named after the man who donated the trophy, Samuel Ryder, the Ryder Cup is held through joint efforts by the Professional Golf Associations of America and the European Tour. The Ryder Cup's location switches between golf resorts in Europe and the United States each time it is held. Because of the luxury golf resorts chosen to host the Ryder Cup, attending this competition is far from average golf vacations; in the past, the Ryder Cup has been held at golf courses in European travel destinations such as Wales, Ireland, and Scotland, as well as California and New York. For this reason, the Ryder Cup is one of the greatest of all golf vacations for the entire family. If you plan to take part in, the first thing is to equip yourself with top golf clubs. You can find the discount name brand clubs from some online golf sales store. Recently, the Ping G20 Driver and Callaway X24 Irons are very hot.

The Ryder Cup is different from other types of golf vacations and competitions because the players participate in the tournament not to win a monetary prize, but instead to gain fame and national pride. Before WWII, The Ryder Cup was originally a tournament held solely between the United States and the United Kingdom. Early competitions were close matches between these teams, but due to United States dominance in Ryder Cup victories around the Second World War, the United Kingdom team was expanded to allow players from all European countries. After this change, competition has been much more evenly matched and this been successful in increasing excitement for spectators. Europe won the last Ryder Cup, which was hosted in 2010 in Newport, Wales. The Europeans had a score of 14.5, just barely beating the United States score of 13.5 points. However, two years before in 2008, the United States won the Ryder Cup with a score of 16.5 to Europe's 11.5. Additionally, the Ryder Cup is exciting for spectators because of high competition that has resulted in occasional controversy between the players. Feuds, accusations of cheating, and questionable sportsmanship have all been a part of the Ryder Cup's history due to high competition between the teams and players. However, this has only led to increased excitement for the game and a spike in its popularity as a golf vacation.

Golf fans across the world are eagerly anticipating the next Ryder Cup, which will be held in 2012 outside of Chicago at the Medinah Country Club. The Medinah Country Club has 54 holes and was established in 1925. It is very popular as a destination for golf vacations due to the fact that it has hosted other famous tournaments such as the PGA Championship and the US Open.

Basics to play Golf

How to start the game of golf as an absolute Beginner?

Golf is continually becoming more and more popular of a sport and for good reason, it is a great way to get outside and get some exercise with a group of your friends. It can also be a very relaxing sport, after a long stressful week of work, a nice round of golf can really make you feel better.

The first step is to buy yourself a set of golf equipment. And if you want a good and happy start, some kind of name brand golf clubs will be necessary. Of course it’s a little expensive, but some online golf sales store can give you great discount.

The golf course can also act as an office, many business discussions have been held over 18 holes of golf. Another great thing about golf is that you can play at your own pace, if you play at a snail's pace the people behind you might catch up and be upset, but otherwise you can play at just about any speed. If you are reading this article then you are definitely a beginner golfer, and one thing you should definitely realize is that golf is not easy. It takes lots of practice to become a great golfer, so if you think you are just going to grab a set of cheap clubs and go out and shoot par, then you are in for a rude awakening. Even the best of the best still have bad days and still need to fix things in their swings. I am not trying to discourage you from playing, I just want to make sure you realize that even though golf is relaxing and a great stress relief, it is anything but easy. One of the great things about golf is that every round you get a score, and as you get better you will see that score drop, so it is very easy to see your improvements if you have been practicing.
Lets go over the basic rules of golf since this article is for the absolute beginner golfer. Golf is played on an 18 hole course. Each hole is given a score called par, this is the normal number of shots you should be able to finish the hole on. So finishing a par 4 in 4 shots is a good score. If you finish 2 shots under the par, this is called an eagle. One shot under par is called a birdie. One over par is called a bogie, then there is double bogie, triple bogie and so on. If you are an absolute beginner golfer, do not expect to shoot par, don't even expect to shoot all bogies, golf is difficult. If you have ever watched golf tournaments, you will know that most of the golfers that start the tournament do not finish under par, so thinking that you can shoot anything close to par when just starting out, will certainly lead to disappointment. Holes will have a par between 3 and 6.
Each hole is made up of the tee box, where you start, the fairway, the rough, and the green. You want to keep the ball on the fairway, this is the shortest grass on your path to the green where the hole is, and is the easiest to hit off of. Outside the fairway is the rough, this grass is longer and tougher to hit good shots out of. Holes may also have hazards that will make your life more difficult, sand traps, water and trees will all get in your way if you don't hit the ball accurately. When you are starting out as a golfer, look for easier courses that have fewer hazards and larger fairways, these will make learning easier and make your round of golf much less frustrating. Those are the basics you need to know to get started.

When playing golf, you will find that the golf clubs you choose are very important so you really have to get yourself proper clubs. Somebody may like the Ping G20 Irons and G20 Driver, and someone thinks the TaylorMade R11 Driver and R11 Irons are more proper to him.

About the Used Golf Clubs

Shopping online for used golf clubs can be daunting. Are you really getting the best deal? Could I have possibly found it cheaper, or in better condition? Am I getting the most bang for my buck? These are all questions you should ask yourself up front when shopping for used golf clubs whether they be ping, or some other brand.
Used ping golf irons, are the preferred brand of many, simply because they are of the best quality, and are often regarded as one of the top golf club manufacturers. I personally prefer used ping golf clubs over other brands but you may see it a different way.
A good club can really improve your golf game. Golf is more about equipment in the beginning, if you don't set yourself up with the best possible used golf equipment, you may not enjoy the game, and you would give up rather quickly.
However, if you take the time to research used golf irons online, you can find a great set of golf irons, at a great price, and still have money left over to actually play golf! There are many places to find used ping golf clubs, so don't always settle with the first place you end up. Do your due diligence, and gather as much information on the club model before you make a purchase decision.
David is an avid golfer, and up until about 8 months ago would score 100+ while playing. Although not the greatest score, his love and passion for golf fueled him to find a way to improve his game.
But, just recently, I find another choice. Maybe go to an online wholesale golf equipment store to purchase discount golf clubs is better Because they support almost all kinds of name brand glof clubs like Ping G20 Irons and G20 driver or Taylormade burner 2.0 Irons with great discount. So, if you don’t like the used one, visit amgolf18.com.

Some reviews to Ping g15 driver

The Ping G15 driver is a typical G series driver in every respect. It’s a square faced, pear-shaped design with a typically understated black matte crown. The sole is silver and adorned with minimal red and black graphics. It’s neither ugly nor super-pretty but to my eyes, it looked great behind the ball and that’s the most important element in the aesthetics department.
The stock grip is fine, not too abrasive and fairly soft. The head cover maintains the black and red color scheme. It looks like it means serious business but has been around the block enough times to know that it can dispense with any unnecessary histrionics.
So, after inspecting the clubs appearance I eventually teed a ball up and gave it a whack. I had pretty high expectations of what was about to happen. Several of my friends play the G15 driver and they all love it. I’ve seen them hitting more fairways than they used to and maybe gaining a modicum of distance too. Although, the distance is most likely a result of their increased confidence rather than some magic dust poured over the clubface. Mind you, in golf confidence is magic dust and we could all use an extra burst from that particular spray gun.
I lined the club up behind the ball and again it did look good, kind of comforting in a way, like it belonged there. The first thing you notice is the sound at impact. It’s neither especially tinny like some models nor totally muted like others but you really know you’ve just swung a piece of titanium at almost 100mph and you’ve done some damage. It felt good too, not harsh or too hard; the face feels as it has a bit of give and it gives you a feeling of power and dynamism, which is always good.
My first ball took off well and what I really noticed was the penetrating flight. I was using the stock Serrano shaft and it felt pretty good. Most of my following swings delivered the same results and it would be fair to say that my high expectations had been met by what the G15 delivered. Is it any longer than other drivers? Not really, no, but there is something that I noticed as I hit it more and more….it’s massively good on off center strikes, exceptionally good.
Sadly for me, I don’t have to try too hard to make off center contact but after a while and having worked out that the G15 driver rewards a good swing with an accurate and long enough result, I deliberately set up to see how a toe end flub worked. It wasn’t too bad at all. It’s not going to kill you out on the course, put it that way. You’ll be coming in with a club or two more to the green but it won’t be a case of watching a weak, slightly sad looking ball flight coming to rest within throwing distance.
The same can be said for strikes off the heel. Mine flew low and right to left but not too hideously and I’d still be able to think about par afterwards.
In summary, The Ping G15 is a top class driver. It sits beautifully behind the ball, is as easy to hit as a driver can be and has the bonus of Ping’s legendary build quality behind it. At it’s price point, it’s hard to beat and gives any driver out there a run for it’s money. If you like it and want a discount, go to the amgolf18.com golf sales online.

TaylorMade Golf Reveals the Story Behind RocketBallz™

BASINGSTOKE, Hants. (13 December, 2011) – The name RocketBallz is a truly unique part of TaylorMade’s newest product franchise and draws upon inspiration from an engineering dream first realised in a prototype Rescue clubhead. In search of the first significant fairway wood innovation in relation to COR and ball speed since the introduction of steel construction in the 1980s, TaylorMade developed and discovered advancements that, collectively, produced RocketBallz technology.
“If you can come up with a name that does a good job of defining what the experience of a product could be, that’s exactly the scenario you want,” said Sean Toulon, Executive Vice President. “Product names come from all over the place but typically they’ll come from marketing, product marketing and sales. Never before has one come from R&D.”
Not unlike many early product prototypes, the first RocketBallz metalwood was rigid, unfashionable and unrefined but its performance was truly incredible. Taken to a handful of TaylorMade Tour Staff professionals for testing, the launch conditions and increased distance it produced were remarkably consistent and immediately unmistakable. The characteristics of the prototype’s performance were best captured in a single analogy as described over and over – “like a rocket.”
“I brought the prototype out to some players and Dustin Johnson was the first one to test it,” said Todd Chew, Tour Product Specialist. “He’s unbelievably long, as we all know, but he was just blown away by how far the Rescue was going. Dustin said a couple of times, ‘It’s like a rocket.’”
When the prototype returned from initial field testing, TaylorMade’s engineers took the creative liberty to etch the name, “RocketBallz,” into both the CAD model and the sole of the prototype clubhead. The etching, similar to the fashion in which the prototype performed, was raw, aggressive and far-removed from the alphanumeric naming conventions normally associated with such product developments. Nonetheless, the project advanced with extreme fervor and excitement surrounding the performance breakthrough.
“I never thought RocketBallz would actually show up on the prototype,” said Todd Beach, Senior Director of Product Engineering, Metalwoods. “Typically, it’s got an MW label and a number on there, whatever our number is. When the prototype came back, I was like, ‘What are you guys doing?’ I can’t believe you put that on there. There’s no way we’re going to call the product that.”
Quickly, the prototypes were refined, the performance improved and the name RocketBallz stuck. In 2012, TaylorMade is introducing the RocketBallz fairway woods and Rescues, which deliver dramatically higher ball speed to promote added distance.
“Whatever you want to call it, this technology is a breakthrough,” said Benoit Vincent, Chief Technical Officer. “It allowed us to increase the COR of Rescue clubs and fairway woods dramatically, resulting in an immense gain in distance.”

Tips Before You Buy Your First Set of Golf Clubs

What factors should you consider before buying your first set of golf clubs? Here are some things to keep in mind when you start shopping for your very first golf set. And before I tell you this, it’s strongly recommended to go to some online shop for golf equipmentsuch as amgolf18.com.
First, Identify Your Golf Goals
Decide on your goals before you go shopping, because identifying realistic goals will make shopping much easier. For example, if you are taking up the game just so you can play twice a year with your brother-in-law, there's no need to spend much time, effort or money on picking out clubs. If you are wildly enthusiastic about golf and plan on playing every chance you get, your sights might be set higher.
Second, Honestly Assess Your Levels of Interest and Dedication
Before you can determine how much you're willing to spend, and on what caliber of clubs, you must honestly assess your dedication. Will you be practicing much? Are you willing to take golf lessons? If you answer "no" or "probably not," then cheaper clubs might be the way to go. Answering "yes" could be a sign that you're not aiming too high if you want something more expensive.
Third, New vs. Used
If you're unsure of your dedication to golf, or if you have a history of taking up a hobby only to drop it later, used clubs might be a good choice. They'll be much cheaper, of course, than new. And because they'll be so much cheaper, they can be easily replaced later. While, of course the new can make you feel better, and if you go to online store, you may find that it's not too expensive to by new name-brand than used.
Fouth, Set Your Budget
Golf clubs can be very expensive. How much you are willing to spend might be tied to how dedicated to the game you think you'll be. On the other hand, if you have plenty of money to spend and want top-of-the-line equipment, go for it. A good option for many beginners, however, is looking for an inexpensive first set. That way, if you don't follow through with the game, you haven't wasted much money.
Fifth, Understanding Shaft Options
Two basics of golf shafts that beginners should most pay attention to are shaft composition (steel or graphite) and shaft flex (how much the shaft bends during the swing). Graphite is lighter and can help generate swing speed; steel is more durable and cheaper. Women and seniors will most likely benefit from graphite shafts with a softer flex. Younger, stronger men might go with regular or stiff shafts, but keep in mind that most teaching pros say many golfers use shafts that are too stiff.
At last, The Clubs Can Make Golf Easier
There's no substitute for a good golf swing. But brand new golfers can make it easier on themselves by choosing clubs that are geared to higher-handicappers (also known as "game improvement clubs"). Choose irons that are perimeter weighted and cavity-backed. Look at "hybrid" sets, where the long irons (3-, 4- and sometimes 5-irons) are replaced by hybrid clubs. Get a driver with more loft, not less. Pay no attention at all to what the Tour players are using. Focus on clubs with low centers of gravity and high moments of intertia.Taylormade burner 2.0 ironstaylormade r11 ironsping g20 ironsping g20 driver and so on. There are so many choices on amgolf18.com

A new member of TaylorMade family

TaylorMade Golf has made quite a good improvement over their previous model of Burner Irons. The balance and feel throughout the set has greatly improved in my opinion, and with the new blackened steel and chromed look their new appearance is quite striking. Along with the new added blackened and chrome finish there seems to be an added and a more durable face finish, as well. Maybe help to keep their good looks awhile longer.
A much thinner top line along with an improved sole width as well as shorter from heel to toe exudes confidence rarely seen in a superior G I irons such as these. I found the tendency to hit high straight to slight draws or high fades quite easy compared to other irons in this G I category. A very solid performer with that softish, forged feel.
Whether you're a scratch player, a weekend warrior, or anywhere in between these irons will fit the largest portion of our golfing community -- quite possibly moreso than any of their previous G I offerings. Hands down a winner here for Taylor Made Golf.
The TaylorMade burner 2.0 irons are a good improvement over the popular Burner 2009. The new black steel and chromed sole, along with the carbon fibered look in the cavity make this a much more attractive iron overall. Distances were very consistent and ball flight, although a bit high, was alright by me. Some may not care for the added height but all in all, a much better performer than it's previous version. For certain, these will be a solid performer for Taylor Made Golf's new lines for 2011.
This clubs can be offered by a new online golf sales store which also give you a good discount. Most of the golf equipment can be find out there, such as Ping G15 driver.

Golf Beginners FAQ

I want to start out with name-brand clubs - but how do I know which brand to buy?
Buying name-brand clubs certainly isn't a necessity, especially for a beginner. But most golfers, at some point, will plop down some money on a nice, shiny set of clubs from the likes of Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping or many of the other top-tier clubmakers.
Here are some suggestions to help you choose the brand you'll wind up buying:
• Ask around. Your friends who golf probably have some strong opinions on who makes the best clubs.
• Watch your fellow golfers on the course. When a cart passes by, take a quick glance in the bags. Get an idea of what others on the course are playing.
• Comparison shop. You might want Brand A, but discover that Brand B is much less expensive. Both have good reputations. Which do you buy? If you're like most people, Brand B.
• Read golf club reviews.
• Read golf magazines, which often review clubs or feature articles on manufacturers.
• Ask your friendly local golf pro. Just keep in mind that many of your friendly local golf pros may have ties to certain manufacturers.
• Find a demo day that's coming up in your area and make plans to attend.
At last I will strongly recommend you going to some online store for name-brand golf equipment which can give you a really amazing discount. Such as amgolf18.com. I bought taylormade burner 2.0 irons and ping g20 driver there, and I like them both.

Investing Smartly In Your Golf Game

For investors and companies one of the keys to success is for them to spend their money where they will see their greatest "Return On Investment"(ROI). It is a difficult process which takes a great deal of time and study. When it comes to choosing your golf equipment I think it is a much easier selection process but unfortunately many golfers use their heart instead of their head when making decisions for their golf game.
When deciding how to choose your golf equipment it should be very objective, all you need is a pen and a piece of paper (feel free to use your IPAD or a calculator).
Let's say you normally shoot 100. On average you use your driver 14 times a round and you average mostly 2 putts per hole but a couple of 3 putts per round, that would give an average putts per round of 38.
This means:
The Driver accounts for 14% of your game.
The Putter accounts for 38% of your game.

The numbers should speak for themselves but players are willing to spend $300-$500 on a driver, with customization up to $800+. But many of these same players are unwilling to spend $150-$350 for a putter which fits them and will use almost 3 times as often as their driver. Actually with a well fitting putter and proper instruction a golfer can quickly lower their number of putts per round and ultimately their score. So when you are evaluating your game and next equipment purchase do some basic math to find your best "Return On Investment".

What’s more, the quality and price should be considered. There is a good online store forgolf equipment you can have a look at. You can find whether taylormade r11 irons or ping g20 driver and so on with a discount there.

Luke Donald, the hero!

News from BBC. England's Luke Donald has been named the PGA Tour's player of the year after finishing the season at the top of the money lists in both America and Europe.
Donald, 34, who sealed the double with third at the Dubai World Championship, is the first Briton to win the players' poll since it started in 1990.
His biggest win in America came in the World Golf Championship Match Play event in which he beat one of his predecessors in the world number one slot, Martin Kaymer, 3&2 in the final.
Donald will complete his season at the Australian Masters, which starts on Thursday, but in a total of 26 tournaments so far this season he has missed only two cuts and registered a remarkable 20 top-10 finishes.
The only other time a European has won the award since 1990 is when Ireland's Padraig Harrington took the honour in 2008.
US PGA champion Keegan Bradley scooped the season's rookie of the year award after being shortlisted for the main prize along with fellow Americans Bill Haas, Webb Simpson and Nick Watney.
Talking about golf, I really wonder what kind of golf equipment do these golfer like most. To myself, I always choose taylormade burner 2.0 irons or taylormade r11 irons.
